Early Literacy Kits on a Dime (working title) Tuesday, July 15, 2008, 9 to noon Wells Branch Community Library 15001 Wells Port Drive, Austin, Texas Registration info coming soon... Take early literacy out into your library! This workshop will focus on ways to integrate inexpensive early literacy activities around the library that not only allow children to play while learning, but also allow parents to engage with their children using early literacy techniques. This is a hands-on, half-day workshop. There will be a nominal fee for materials (under $10) but everyone will leave with something they can use right away.
