Steve Seale, NETLS Consultant, is looking for any help you can offer on
"Programs in a Shoebox" for a presentation he's doing at ALA. Any ideas?

Thanks, Jennifer Patterson

Subject: FW: Ideas needed about how rural libraries without a community room
do programming

Hi Jennifer. If you get a chance to ask your members for ideas for my
program, please do so. I just found out this morning about being on the
panel. I'm a little fired up! Thanks, Steve

NETLS rural library directors,

I have been added to a panel discussion at the upcoming American Library
Association Conference on "Public Programs in a Shoebox: What If You Don't
Have a Community Room?"

Several librarians in rural libraries will offer descriptions of public
programs that have worked for them even though they lacked space such as a
community rooom.

If you have suggestions for overcoming space constraints for public
programming, please send me an email sharing them with me. I'll use them at
ALA as well as share them with NETLS members.

Thanks, Steve
