Please see the description below and contact Brain Gannon or Stephen Stephanian at the Texas Film Commission (512/463-9200) directly if you have questions or photographs to share. Thanks, Teresa The Texas Film Commission - Office of the Governor, is looking for photographs of Texas towns circa 1945-1960. A feature film project has contacted our office looking for reference photographs of Texas during the 1950's oil boom, so we are putting together a research package for them in hopes they will shoot in our communities. We are looking for a variety of photographs, including main streets, buildings, interiors and city skylines. We would preferably like towns that were involved with the oil boom and had a population of 20,000 or more people. If you have any digital historical photographs that fit the description, please send them to Brian Gannon - [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you have additional questions, you can contact Brian Gannon or Stephen Stephanian at the Texas Film Commission at 512-463-9200. We appreciate your help in this project.
