Please see the information Chief Watson has forwarded to us-the FEMA
site linked below has a list of housing/hotels for evacuees.  Take a
look so we can appropriately direct anyone who inquires.

Any hotels locally?  In Taylor, the Econolodge on N. Main, in
Georgetown-the Holiday Inn Express and the La Quinta, in Round Rock-more
hotels then I care to list here.

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA), at the request of the State of Texas, will
activate its transitional sheltering initiative to allow eligible Ike
evacuees from Texas, who cannot return to their homes, to stay in hotels
or motels until it is safe for them go home.
