If your library needs a spring cleaning, and you don't know where to start, come to the weeding workshop in Mexia to get revitalized! Suzan Nyfeler & Laurie Mahaffey will present a two-track weeding workshop on Wednesday, November 18, using the Mexia library as their laboratory. Registration begins at 8:30, and we'll get started at 9 a.m. If your children's collection needs the most help, go with Suzan. If it's your adult collection in need of help, choose Laurie. We'll discuss principles and policies of weeding using the CREW manual and finish with hands-on weeding with a show-and-tell discussion at the end. Collections that have been weeded show an increase in circulation. If your library's circulation has been low or has leveled off, this workshop can help. All participants must register online.
