The Central Texas Library System will present awards in three categories
at the Winter Member Meeting, January 23, 2009 at the Bee Cave Public
Library.   Nomination forms are available at
http://www.ctlsinc.org/awards.php.   You all have lots of great youth
volunteers.  These types of awards look great on college applications
and will mean a lot to some lucky tween/teen in Central Texas.  Nominate
them today!

Award categories are: 

*         Friends of the Library Project, recognizing a project or
program conceived and supported by a Library Friends organization that
exemplifies the significant contribution that the group has made to
library services in a local community 

*         Library Board Member Award, recognizing an exemplary record of
library service while serving on an advisory or governing board of a
CTLS member library 

*         Youth Library Volunteer Award, recognizing exemplary volunteer
efforts by a youth, up to and including age 18, who has donated
significant time and/or effort to help a library achieve its goals
