Laurie:  We received these "Big Read" CDs, and we cataloged them for the collection.  Need more literary criticism?  Yesterday at our library management seminar, Julie Todaro told us about a good online source of literary criticism, at ipl.org.

Did anyone else get these CDs? What are you doing with them?
Literary criticism is also on the TexShare Databases. Has anyone compared the 2 to see what the overlap (if any) is?
Thanks.
Laurie

Laurie:

I'm sure other libraries have received the literary CDs - "The Big Read" - from the National Endowment for the Arts. I need to know what other libraries did with them.

Catalog them? How? Forget the cataloging & just put them out for folks to check out?

Or pitch them out?

(We just received 7 more in addition to the original 14 sent. I'm not sure what kind of literary criticism they contain, but they cover quite a few classics.)

Thanks!      Nancy
