The Library Development and Library Resource Sharing divisions of the Texas State Library are moving! Starting Friday, January 16, 2009, the Library Development and Library Resource Sharing divisions of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission will move to temporary offices because of the continuing building renovation. We expect that the move will be completed Tuesday, January 20. On Friday the 16th reaching staff by phone or e-mail will be very difficult. Fax machines will not be connected. Please note that Monday, January 19 is a state holiday. On Tuesday, January 20 we expect that phones, computers, and fax machines will be connected in our new location. However, there may be unanticipated issues and staff will be unpacking. Therefore, there may be a delay in responding to phone calls and emails. For these two days, to reach staff please note the following: For urgent questions about Library Resource Sharing programs: TexShare, Library of Texas, or the Publications Clearinghouse, please send e-mail to [email protected] or leave a message at 512-463-7610. For urgent questions about Library Development programs: Grant programs/E-rate - send an email to your grant manager or the E-rate coordinator. For questions about workshops, the public library annual report, the Library Science collection, or other Library Development questions, on Friday call 512-463-5468. On Tuesday please use all regular Library Development phone numbers. We appreciate your understanding while we are in transition. We expect to move back to the State Library building in the late fall 2009.
