Central Texas Library System, Inc. 512-583-0704 x16 The TAMALE - NEWS FROM TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF MUSEUMS THC PARTNERS WITH TAM TO PRESENT WORKSHOP SERIES The Texas Historical Commission (THC) and Texas Association of Museums will work together this summer and fall to present a series of one-day workshops targeted to small and medium-sized history museums. THC Museum Services Program received funding from IMLS to provide multiple, low-cost training workshops and then partnered with TAM to coordinate the series. Planning is currently under way! Addressing topics of contemporary relevance, the workshops will take place throughout the state. Many museum leaders do not have the funds available to attend large-scale training events-and it is imperative that such resources be made available regionally. We will announce the summer workshop schedule soon.
