1st in Austin present a book signing and lecture by author and
historian, Dan Arellano on Saturday May 30th at 3:30 P.M.

Come and listen as Dan explains why J. Frank de la Teja Ph.D. author,

April 6, 1813 as well.

On April 6th 1813, the Tejano community, under the leadership of Jose
Bernardo Gutierrez de Lara, after a year of bloody fighting declared
that Texas was free and independent of Spanish rule.
