Free workshops on Services for Children and Youth are now scheduled for
the fall, part of the Small Library Management series.

The special collection and programming needs of children and young
adults will be explored in this workshop. A range of topics, including
collection tools, teen behavior, genre fiction, games, summer programs,
collaborating with schools and making attractive library spaces will be
covered. The program will be divided into two days, presented by
Christine McNew and John Cecil.

The scheduled dates for the series:

Pharr       Sept. 24 & 25, 2009

Boerne            Oct. 5 & 6, 2009

Lubbock     Oct. 15 & 16, 2009

Abilene           Oct. 22 & 23, 2009

Richmond    Oct. 29 & 30, 2009

Lewisville  November 5 & 6, 2009

Austin            November 12 & 13, 2009
