Free workshops on Services for Children and Youth are now scheduled for the fall, part of the Small Library Management series. http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/ld/workshops/slm2a/index.html The special collection and programming needs of children and young adults will be explored in this workshop. A range of topics, including collection tools, teen behavior, genre fiction, games, summer programs, collaborating with schools and making attractive library spaces will be covered.
