Systems: I am very pleased to announce that Library Development has a new Administrator: LSTA/Texas Reads grants. Jennifer Peters joined us about a week ago. She will be managing the LSTA competitive grants, as well as Texas Reads. Jennifer brings many years of diverse experience to the position. She is a librarian with experience in academic and archival libraries. She most recently worked at a non-profit organization, Capital Idea, where she held several positions, most involving intense grant writing, grant administration, reporting (outcomes!), managing the organization's metrics, as well as communication strategies. Capital Idea works to lift working families out of poverty by sponsoring educational services that lead to life-long financial stability. Please join me in welcoming her!
