Ms. Brown is the director of the Abilene Public Library and also serves as the Major Resource Center director for the Big Country Library System. Prior to her position in Abilene, she had many years of library experience with the Cumberland County Public Library and Information Center in North Carolina and the Chattahoochee Regional Library System in Georgia. She earned her MLS from the University of Denver. Reminder: The LSAB meets Sept. 18 in the commission room on the second floor of the Zavala building, 10 am - 2 pm.
