Just a reminder - the Friends of CTLS have stipends for those who want to attend the Collection Development workshop (Oct. 22nd in Waco and 23rdin Austin) but don't have the funds to attend right now. It's pretty simple to get one; just go to our website and click on the FRIENDS of CTLS link on the left, and the link at the top of that page for a stipend; fill out the short application and send it. Then go back to the CTLS home page and click on the workshop you wish to attend. When you are prompted to register as a member of CTLS, choose to pay with the tiny link at the bottom right of the registration screen which says "other payment options". Click on "Pay by Check". The treasurer of the Friends will receive your application and send a check on your behalf.
Don't forget - we want you there. It won't be the same without you!
