Thanks so much, Gloria =================== TLA needs volunteers to serve 2 to 3 hour shifts at the Texas Book Festival during the weekend of Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. There are approximately 10 shifts open. Volunteers will be asked to "man" the TLA booth during the festival. Volunteers will welcome attendees to stop by the both and look at exhibits, pick up handouts, and give-aways (which TLA will prepare and provide), and answer questions about libraries, TLA, and reading! TLA volunteers are exceptional representatives of the library community and are energetic in interacting with TBF attendees. If you are able to sign on for any of these time slots, please let me know.
