Time to start enrolling in the 2010 Reading with Ringling Bros. library reading program. We hope you will pass along this information to libraries again this year! Info is below. Please fill it out and submit back to me. Deadline is Friday, December 18. Currently, we are securing our Ambassadors of Laughter (our wonderful advance clowns). Once we know who they will be this year and have our contracts signed, we'll begin notifying libraries of dates that they will be in your area. PLEASE NOTE: Due to a sharp increase in fraudulent activity by parents/guardians, we are requiring that adults purchase tickets upon redemption of the kids' tickets. Unfortunately, this year, we had people redeem large blocks of tickets (such as schools and daycares) and not request any adult tickets. Likewise, we had families walk up and redeem free tickets for their entire family. Maybe this is a sign of the economy. Or, maybe this is a sign of people taking advantage of a reward program. Regardless, it diminishes the Herculean efforts of the kids to visit their library and enjoy the magic of reading. This program is designed for children 2-12 years of age only. We realize that this may affect your participation, and for this we apologize. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I look forward to working with you again!
