Please excuse any cross posting. Deadline approaching! January 31 is the deadline for application submission for the Highsmith Award. The Highsmith Library Award recognizes two libraries - one school and one for all other library types (i.e., public, academic, special) - that have implemented creative marketing projects and/or promotions to enhance their visibility within their service community (example: library web sites, genre promotion, information services, library card sign-up, or any innovative project). A Highsmith representative will present the awards on April 16, 2010 during the second general session at the 2010 TLA Conference in San Antonio.
