The ILL Pilot libraries have been chosen and have begun the process of implementing the new ILL program in January. A list of those libraries can be found at http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/texshare/newsletter/resourcesharingprojects/? p=485 The libraries participating in the ILL pilots range from a small two person library up to large public libraries and are located throughout the state. The libraries will be loading their holdings in OCLC to create a Texas Group Catalog. Patrons will be searching the catalog to find items and to request those items. Staff will be using OCLC's Navigator to manage both borrowing and lending requests. The libraries will be evaluating the program and be reporting back their findings to TSLAC and OCLC. Texas State Library and Archives Commission is thankful for the libraries' participation in this very important pilot. Those participating in the pilots will be adding their holdings to OCLC's database and implementation WorldCat Navigator for interlibrary loan.
