Children's Materials:

Collection Development & Reader's Advisory 

 

Discover how to develop a children's collection to meet your community's
needs, how to select and evaluate children's materials, and how to use
readers' advisory strategies and resources.  This workshop is just right
for school and public librarians.  Before the workshop, please read

Presenter Martha Edmundson was a librarian and collection development
manager for Denton Public Library. She currently teaches children's
literature at the School of Library and Information Sciences at TWU, and
in April will become the Texas Bluebonnet Award Coordinator.
