If I can add to what Suzan has shared - many of the business sponsors can give
products that help build incemtive packages. We have even helped our businesses
donate by creating the "free drink" or "free something" coupons for them to
sign. We then put them in prize packets & the businesses honor the coupons when
our readers show up at their establishment. The businesses also win, because
there is usually a parent or guardian taking the child to the shop or
restaurant!

Subject: [ctls-l] Where to get money for summer programs

Friends –

I was just speaking with Diana Tatum with Texas Longhorns for Hire about her
business.  They’ve been bringing longhorns to communities for a long time and
work closely with local sponsors.  She had some novel ideas on where to get
sponsor money – and not just for her business.  Here are some ideas she’s
passing on to you.  Ask for money or sponsorship from banks, credit unions,
card dealerships – especially Dodge, the Texas Longhorn Association, feed
dealers (Purina), Petsmart, historical societies and western wear shops.

Here’s her info:

Remember that the Performer’s Showcase is March 12.  Register at www.ctls.net.
Check back next week and see the list of performers and exhibitors.
