During the coming summer the Georgetown Public Library will sponsor an adult summer reading program. We would also like to do what we can to help out our local authors so the theme for the summer will be 'Read Local' or some variation on the idea of reading our wonderful local authors. I hope to have programs each week where an author will talk about their book, their writing, and really anything else they might want to talk about---they'll be able to sell books too. At the end of the summer there will be a random drawing prize for for authors who participate and for the patrons. Authors may contact me directly ([email protected] 512-931-7620) if they would like to participate in a program anytime from late May through July.

Thank you,
Richard
