This covers the workshop fee, mileage and a meal if necessary. You can apply for all of the stipend or just what you think you need so you can attend--bringing the whole staff can be a possibility for some of the small libraries now. The board increased the scholarships/stipends to attend the TLA conference in April to THREE (3) at $500. You are not restricted from applying if this is not your first time--experienced staff benefit greatly, especially in these hard economic times. It is time to apply now.
