Hi everyone, We're in the midst of doing the SLM IV workshop on reference and just finished our first workshop with AMIGOS' Arta Kabashi in San Antonio. We talked about the various ways patrons can now contact a library, even a small one. We worked through chat and email transactions, then went on to the more traditional telephone reference as well. The Colony Public Library has a great example page for their many points of patron contact using their Plinkit site. It's very easy to navigate to and then, oh the choices! Even a chat widget from Meebo!
