You might check your local ordinances to see if campaigning is allowed
in municipal buildings. Our city ordinances specifically prohibit
campaigning in any city building.

Subject: [ctls-l] Community Postings

We have a community posting board in the library- it's a bulletin board
where people can post lost dogs and Avon and that kind of thing.
Usually, we have mostly ads for babysitting, church bazaar sales, local
concerts, personal training, apartment for rent, that kind of thing. We
recently had a situation where someone posted a 'Vote for Me' sign for
the upcoming local election. It met all the size and format
regulations.

Does anyone out there have a policy that either allows or doesn't allow
for political postings on a community board?
