We have two library-sponsored book clubs. They are treated like our other
local clubs except that they meet in our multi-purpose room whereas the
other clubs meet elsewhere.

Normally I will buy one set of books (6 or so) once a year for the book
clubs who request them. However, if the book isn't one I think would appeal
to a wider audience, I don't purchase it. Most of the time this works out
well because more than one club will be interested in reading the same
books.

Subject: [ctls-l] Library Sponsored Book Clubs

For those of you who sponsor book clubs, how do you handle acquiring the
books? Do the members order their own? Do you order and they pay for them?
Do you order multiple copies for the library and let them check them out?

Any other tips on this subject would be gratefully received!
