From: "Mike Ruppert" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> David: What happens is anyone's good (or bad) guess right now. I know that as a result of pressure coming from my newsletter (From The Wilderness @ www.copvcia.com.) subscribers that several hundred letters, phone calls and e-mails have been sent saying that we're watching. The African-American community is paying closer attention than you might think. I have recently received the unanimous endorsement o the Baptist Ministerial Conference of Southern California and eight other African-American groups. I went to their business meetings three weeks in a row and briefed them all and provided them with free extracts and newsletters. That represents about 500 churches. All I can do now is sit back and watch as this unfolds. The House Intelligence Committee and the White House know we are watching. My web page has recently been visited, twice in one day, for over an hour, by the Executive Office of the President. I'm following a spiritual axiom which says you do the footwork and stay out of the results. I've had too many disappointments in 20 years to get my hopes up. I just wonder whether anyone with any influence has confronted the major talk show hosts to discuss the Hitz report. I also notice they never seem to interview you, Terry Reed, Gary Webb, AEP, et al.....Who is giving the directives on this? Have they ever been approached to discuss the Hitz Report at the very least? And Mike, what do you think will come of the hearings in January, as you say, in the background of more attacks on Iraq and the Senate trial? Will the Intelligence committee chairman, a former CIA operative, still preside? What media will cover the hearings? And does any of this info impact on what the Republicans and Democrats are afraid will come out about Mena, etc.?
