Hi Linda--
I was one of the folks who received a copy of The Skeleton Key to the
Gemstone Files in 1975. Don't know if it was an "original." What I
had was a mimeographed document--mailed from England-- that had
been sent to an environmental group where Robert Redford's then-wife
volunteered a lot of time. Since no one there was "interested," the
document fell into the hands of my friend, who worked there. And
through her, it came to me. I read it and couldn't help but feel,
instinctively, that most --if not all of it--was true. It sparked an
incredible sort of paranoia of a type totally new to me....the
realization that the people you saw in your neighborhood on a daily
basis could be totally other than they seemed to be. That there was a
"shadow" world and anyone could be watching you.
I called the then head of WBAI --NPR in NYC and tried to tell him
what I had. He went ballistic that I would talk about such a thing on
the telephone and said he'd get back to me, meet with me. He never
did. Then I tried to show the document to a friend who was the
president of a major publishing house. He refused even to look at
it. Eventually, I just put it away and sort of "forgot" about it
until many years later when I saw something like it coming from
Illuminet Press.
Also want to repeat again that Larry Flynt was shot about two weeks
after he published an issue of the LA Free Press (which he'd bought
from Phil Krassner?) detailing all the vanished witnesses and
witnesses that had not been so much as interviewed in the JFK
assassination. He had promised to name big names in the next issue.
There was never a next issue. I believe that for many years, having
lived through his own assassination, Flynt was under government house
arrest of a very sinsiter sort, indeed, and wonder why he is now
free to do anything at all --if the government has lost interest
in Mr. Flynt or if he is still under "someone's" control. Hmmm.......
There is a Phoenix website and an Omega File online....are these
related to this person or are they something else? I don't have access
to CompuServe but would be very interested in what's happening with
this. I hope you will give us more info on this.
