-Caveat Lector- The Government holds no copyrights! So things developed from the space program and other military applications go onto the market as soon as possible and are able to be accessed by anyone that can figure out a way of using them. This is contrary to big business that holds back on some discoveries is they will take money away from other areas. I may not have all my facts "on target" BUT the basic idea of things being free use that have been developed by the "Military" is true.
