hourly employee who seldom if ever came into contact
with such movers and shakers.
When this simple peasant girl had the nerve to refuse
the wishes of her ultimate master, she was warned not
to make any trouble over this. Remember, he told her, I
know your supervisor -- we're good friends. Don't tell
anyone about this. You're a smart girl. >>
My goodness, Gavin, you do this so well, I suspect you write it for a living.
You have such syjpathy for that poor little peasant girl (a new way to say
trailer trash?), it almost makes me cry. Only a simple peasant girl would
have gone up to that hotel room, and those troopers would never have thought
she was the town tramp, if she hadn't been very simple. Prudy
