Exactly. Not forgetting the tens of millions to our "esteemed" defence
contractors to replenish our spent missiles/planes etc, plus re-building
contracts in Kuwait. It was also enacted to rid us of the "Vietnam Syndrome",
which is a major reluctance by American citizens to engage in protracted wars
abroad. Some of Bush's first words after the conflict ended were, "By God,
we've kicked the Vietnam Syndrome once and for all." I don't think so George,
now we have 100,000 + very sick Gulf War Vets. George Bush-his only
"achievments" are his treachery of this country, his perfidy and an overiding
venality. George Bush jr, the sequel, will probably be more base than the one
that spawned him.
