It's all over TV and the movies--the news media show glowing reports of military activities, without the least hint of criticism; one of the top-rated network series is "JAG", about Navy legal "top guns"; the military are all over the current crop of movies, in a way that makes it clear the scripts had to be approved at the highest levels of the Pentagon (can't have Our Boys'n'Girls misrepresented now, can we?)... About the only place you see any criticism at all of the military is "60 Minutes", and they seldom venture into areas such as Gulf War Syndrome, depleted uranium weapons, or chemical/biological warfare, preferring to focus on personnel policies.
