Thanks Bob, for the info on microwave/radiation in cooking.
I should add that in 15 years of cooking all foods with microwave,
that just recently it did cause me near "kidney failure" just at New
Years, when my latest (7 year old) machine blew its magnetron, and
suddenly tesla-like arcs of blue and pink "lightening" started
flashing inside it and a horrible noise occurred too.
Apparently the life span of a microwave oven is about 7 years before
its magnetron goes nuts.
Believe me, when that happened I am sure I had a near bout of "kidney
failure" :-)))))))
