Precisely...they are beneficial as long as they REMAIN WITHIN THE
INTESTINAL TRACT...they become deadly to humans when they enter any OTHER
part of the body...
Which is why, in nursing, they teach one to be particulary careful in
cleaning the perianal area, as it would be quite easy to infect a patient
with careless washing, with potentially deadly results...
