You probably believe the organ-harvesting story, the 'you'll be killed if
you flash your headlights' story, the 'send a card to this sick kid'
story, the 'Disney and Microsoft are giving free trips to Disneyland'
story, and the Nieman-Marcus cookie story, too...

A 'very reliable source' which, as is always the cases in hoaxes like
these, remains nameless...

First off, the HIV virus degrades very rapidly when exposed to air...no
object which may have contained the virus, including a hypodermic, would
contain a live virus for long under such conditions.
Secondly, notice that no names of the 'doctors' who 'tested the needle'
are mentioned, neither is the facility where the supposed test was
conducted...indeed, we aren't even told what city or state this
supposedly occured in, an obvious sign that this is a hoax.

WHAT 'Metro Police Dept'?? Like the 'gang members will kill you if you
flash your headlights' hoax, the name of the police department supposedly
issuing this alert is never mentioned...this story is ALSO a hoax.

Notice that no names are ever given, neither the name of the actual
'phone company' supposedly issuing the alert.
