I have repeatedly visited my Federal Depository and have repeatedly found it devoid of human habitation just as I have found one of the premiere libraries in this country devoid of signs of life. Last night I, as ususal, sat at my computer coding one of the most telling investigations in this nation's history, it is not available elsewhere, I intend to bring it to you. My intention is to bring to you the Church Committee Report. You may see for yourselves how quickly hard hours and days of work can become ZEROS, as the time I put into coding Chapter XVII. TESTING AND USE OF CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL AGENTS BY THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY was eradicated, in the wink of an eye. I refuse to quit, I refuse to knuckle under, I will find other ways to publish this material. I will find grants. I will find capital for this project. I will find backing for the publication of this and other investigations. I will not be deterred. I want you to see what is going on. I have spent long hours of work to code this material. I have spent my hard dollars to pay to photocopy this material to bring it to your attention. I saw tonight my work go up, in the wink of an eye, in vapor. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I am NOT a happy camper over this. This sort of censorship can happen to any one of us. It is insidious. Please, if you can, substantiate a government that will bankroll the censorship of its own Senate reports. There are plenty out there who will back, financially, the publication of historic documents. Try to stop me -- you can't -- you can only deter me. I refuse to stop. If I must code ten times over, I will. If I must search out those who will back me in my efforts to publish that which belongs to all of us, I will. If I must fight against despots, dictators, and demigods, I will. You will not gain control over me. If a war of attrition is what you want then you have it. There are plenty who will agree with me. You can not control my basic attitudes -- your only avenues of attack are innuendo, rumor, and other insidious forms of warfare. You can not touch me other than to kill me. Then so be it. You will not stop me. Go ahead and ply your electronic warfare, I'll find plenty of backers -- WARMONGERS! If this is the way you intend to fight then I call for those Americans who refuse to forget those who went before us, like Frank Church, who believed in Freedom, to come to the forefront and fight censorship. Those that believed in the God-given rights to publish, to speak freely, to hold their own opinions, to live their lives within the bounds of the laws to which we all agreed without tethers, to make the most of which we came to this earth with, to be free from the tyrannical power of those who would make us bow to their will, those that will fight you hob-nailed booted despots. I WILL PUBLISH. I WILL NOT AGREE TO YOUR TERMS. I WILL NOT FORGET THE HISTORY OF YOUR ATROCITIES. AND, I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CENSOR ME OR THE SENATE INVESTIGATIONS RESIDING ON DUSTY SHELVES THAT YOU SO HOPE WILL GO FORGOTTEN. Last night I was censored. Perhaps tomorrow you will be censored. My censorship was a Senate Investigative Report of the most far reaching ramifications. Tomorrow your censorship may be the brand of cereal you buy unless you stand up for your rights.
