So that must be why cell phones have not only become dirt cheap, but are
encouraged to be used by everyone --then the gov't can bug anyone they want w/out
the individual evne knowing about it.

The fact the the manufacturer denies it is no surprise --their contract probably
stipulates that they deny everything.
