From: Daniel Hopsicker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Dear list--but especially David and Richmond: After receiving some amazing correspondence from Tosh Plumlee tonight, I have published two more photos of CIA agent Barry Seal with unknown Mafioso, taken in the early 1960s... Taken from These pictures of CIA agent Barry Seal and unknown Mafioso, taken in New Orleans in the 1960's, form part of the Barry Seal Archive, the contents of which will be fully revealed in the book "Barry and the Boys." We publish them here to illustrate the importance of another photograph on this website, the one of Barry Seal and a group of Cubans taken in Mexico City on January 23, 1963, exactly ten months before the Kennedy assassination. Former CIA pilot Tosh Plumlee was the apparent target of an assassination attempt this weekend, by a man he described only as a "Miami Cuban" in a frantic email to Internet supporters late Saturday night. We say apparent, because subsequent events lead us to question Mr. Plumlee's motives, sobriety, and truthfulness, in just about that order. Plumlee, who boasted of his long-time association and friendship with Barry Seal in a recent phone interview, has sent us an e-mail attempting to cast doubt on this photo, but in an especially clumsy way. In one email, he states that he is the man hiding behind his suit coat; in a second, he says it is someone named "Buck Pearson." Mr. Plumlee is, apparently, and to put it charitably, confused. In any event, Plumlee states, ".most of those boys are Narcs having a little fun after receiving awards from the American DEA....ask Mike Levine.....I am the one hiding my face....Senator Kerry had this picture in 1986...said it was taken in 1975......I got a good laugh on that one.....I did talk with this 'Lipsicker' some weeks ago and he tried to plant that Seal was in Dallas. He obvious did not know who he was talking to or about. T(osh.) This follows a recent attack on the photo from Internet pest Bill Bottoms. Two extremely reputable researchers and associates, Dr. David Stern in Los Angeles, and attorney Richmond Odom in Baton Rouge, both have knowledge that the source of these photographs in unimpeachable, is, indeed, what historians call a 'primary' source, the best possible kind. Thus, Bottoms, and now Plumlee's clumsy attempts at disinformation can only mean one thing: these photos contain a key to the ongoing investigation into the Kennedy assassination, and Barry Seal's role in it. And, by the way, Mr. Plumlee, the name's HOPSICKER, and, for the record, I don't believe a word you've got to say from this moment on. Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday in New Orleans; we will be meeting a former law enforcement official with information on the Marcello Family's involvement in the JFK matter.
