I don't think treason and leaving this country vulnerable is justified for
any reason. However, if you are suggesting that perhaps "secret"
negotiations and resulting deals/trades were the game plan all along, I
suppose that could be the case. Considering opposition to dealings with
China because of their Human Rights agenda, this strategy may have been
taken to ensure an ally. It doesn't "smell" right, but it's a world gone
mad and anything is possible. :)
