I also believe that people are innocent until proven guilty. And wonder what kind of
"evidence" someone might have kept preserved for two decades. Another blue dress?
I happen to know several women who were once married to men, had their children,
and were then abandoned after the divorce. These men never paid child-support, even
claiming they had no assets. Some of these men, twenty or thirty years later, are now
rolling clover, married to very wealthy women. Wouldn't it be wonderful if these women,
who had been forced into years of great hardship, could go after these guys and get
the alimony and child support that was owed them? Ask any lawyer. They will tell you
it's way too late. That's a kind of "rape" too. And unbelievably common in our society.
