Capitol Hill Blue supports Free Republic in its fight against attempts by The Washington Post and Los Angeles Times to limit free speech on the Internet.

Rats off a stinking ship

Screaming matches between the first couple, internal investigations over news leaks, gallows humor about the scandal du jour -- all in a day's work at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Even with impeachment behind him, Bill Clinton's White House is under seige. "We serve this man, but we really don't know him," one aide says. "Every day, you come into the office and just wonder what surprises are lurking out there, ready to ruin your day." That's why Clinton aides are leaving at a history-making rate. Those who don't already have new jobs are actively looking. It is, as one poster on the popular Internet bulletin board, Free Republic, put it: "Rats off a Stinking Ship."
