Military Urban Assault
Training Missions have been taking
place in some major cities across the
country. Most of these exercises are conducted
without forewarning to, or the permission of, the residents of the
neighborhoods where the exercises take place.

The exercises usually
involve several helicopters which have no visible markings identifying them as
U.S. military aircraft. The the troops involved - from what I'm able to
gather - wear no
insignia or other identifiable markings indicating that they are U.S. troops.
In some cases, the local
law enforcement agencies are not even given advanced waring and are unable to
properly
advise terrified residents calling into 911!

Most of the exercises involve the firing of weapons and explosives. Army
officials have been
caught lying (at least twice) regarding the use of live fire during the
exercises.

People For Sovereignty & Restoration an organization which asserts that joint
exercises between the military, local and state law enforcement is a violation
of The Posse Comitatus Act
and are therefore illegal. The purpose of The Posse Comitatus Act was to
assure that the U.S. Military
could never be involved, in any way shape or form, in law enforcement.

Carol Lido successfully thwarted a planned MOUT exercise in Ft. Lauterdale and
has worked to prevent
exercises in other Cities as well. Click HERE to learn

Here is a very informative article
regarding
Presidential Decision Directive 25 (PDD-25). Some people speculate that
this directive's
purpose was, in part, to subvert the Posse Comitatus Act and to allow the
command of U.S. troops
by the U.N. It is also interesting to note that this PDD was classified and
at least one U.S.
Senator was denied permission to view the actual document. PDDs are proposed
by the President
and automatically become effective within a short period of time unless
Congress strikes down the directive.
But how does one judge a classified directive?
