I had to see the doctor about an upper respiratory infection recently and
received antibiotics. He said that in his 25 years of practice, he's never
seen anything like this year before. Many people are coming into his office
with flu symptoms/coughs. The antibiotics help for a short time, and then the
same people return again and again. He himself has been sick twice this
season, which he says is very unusual. He "joked" that he thinks Saddam
Hussein is sprinkling something in the air.
