-Caveat Lector- I am having a devil of a time trying to send a corrected copy of the old geezer contribution I sent to the list. This is my second day with yahoo.com e-mail. Still getting used to it, I guess. Add paragraph and correct paragraph beginning, "Yet in Palm Beach County . . ." The editorial said, "The problem is access, not numbers. The federal Council on Graduate Medical Education says the ideal is 145-185 physicians per 100,000 people." Add add to the next paragraph that the late Gov. Lawton Chiles felt that access to medical care was a problem. That is why he started the Healthy Kids program -- because students didn't have access to health care, not to doctor's offices. Sorry about this correction problem. I will get it right as I go along, I guess. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
