Some of the books I have showed the Illuminati attempting to infiltrate
and take over Freemasonry; but then the old adage, friends in peace;
enemies in war might apply, because England and Germany, and their
mutual friends and enemies, have to set up something lasting whereby
when conflicts end, peacemakers once again regain control.
My father was a Knight of Columbus; he would like to say that a Catholic
discovered America, but he remained quiet and let my mother rave on
about her ancestors who signed the Declaration of Independence....and
Christopher Columbus, was a Catholic - but I do not hear Catholics
rubbing that in our faces.... my mother always believed it was Lief
Ericssen and not Columbus.
I always visualized a group of Indians selling trinkets with signs
"Welcom Tourists".....
My father recognized Father Coughlin for what he was = a propagandist;
my mother, again who was not Catholic, loved Father Coughlin.....
My father always refrained from arguments with my mother on political
agendas, and would sit quietly and smile.
My father was a real man; and when he could take all he could stand, he
would retreat to his hide-a-way in the basement, which also served as a
retreat......and he would still be smiling.
With his silence, he always got the best of any argument. Anyway, when
the Knights of Columbus, called themselves the Knights of Columbus, it
was their quiet, modest way of say "A Catholic discovered America".
How many people ever thought of Columbus being a Catholic. My Uncles on
my mother's side, were both Masons (one was Secret Service and the other
a Naval Instructor) - I never heard them discuss religion or masonry or
catholism; yet, my father alwayd carried his old back cat around, his
favorite pet.........and the only picture I have of him, he holds this
cat right under his chin.
Anyway, regardless who does what, I still like my ancestor who rode with
Jesse James - and there were catholics and protestants in that circle of
friends.
