"Wag the Dog" is tonight's prime-time TV fare inside Yugoslavia --
Milosovic-land.
In that film, as you recall, the President's phony media-manufactured
"war" was set in -- Albania, of all places. Kosovo is the home of Serbia's
Albanian minority.
Hmm. Perhaps the Serbs are more perceptive than Americans are, in this
instance.
So, what embarrassing situation is this purely expedient, fortuitous
--at any given moment, there's probably a dozen "hot spots" where Clinton
COULD "justifiably" intervene, if he WANTED to-- US military engagement
designed to distract attention from THIS time?
Could it be ... the Clinton Administration's "cross my palm, I'll look
the other way" complicity, since 1994, in Red China's theft of US nuclear
secrets -- a national-security catastrophe now being painted by some as
rivalling Soviet penetration of the same sort, via spies like the Rosenbergs,
in the late '40s and '50s, after World War II.
Could it be because FBI and Justice Department and CIA officials,
appointees of Clinton, are now being called before Congress to answer for
their failure to act, even when aware of it?
Could it be because the most we've heard so far of this scandal is "only
the tip of the iceberg," in the words of a Washington insider, with the worst
of it still CLASSIFIED ?

Maybe -- or maybe it's just another of those "odd coincidences" around Mr
Bill ....
