We do not all think that this chalks up one for the good guys. When you walk
in the shoes of someone dying by inches in the most painful and unpleasant
manner, then you can decide whether or not someone has the right to die
peacefully or should have their pain extended as long as medically possible.
How many times years ago I heard people talk about the death of their loved
ones by saying, "He (or she) prayed for death. He was in such pain." Of
course someone else's pain does not hurt, does it? Prudy
