I have been in medical community for several yrs., now retired from that
. I don't think nurses can get their hands on a drop or morphine to
increase anything. It is so regulated, signed and coutersigned and so
much trouble that many go without adequate pain medicaton and suffer the
literal pains of death with little more than an aspirin. It is
sometimes horrible to see or know about. Under-medicating for pain is
an under-reported national scandal.
