See previous repy in Re:Kevorkian. with my intro. Guess I left out of
the intro I was married to a physician for 23 yrs & worked in his
office, saw his & other hospital patients, etc. My combined experience
in three (3) states is that there is terrible undermedication of those
in pain, terminal and otherwise. Fix that and it might put people like
Dr. Jack out of business. Again, I ask whatever happenedto "First, do
no harm."

P.S. Mayve in some cases there is "morphine to spare. It would have to
be prescibed by the dr. and then every drop acounted for. Hospitals use
unit doese of everything like that. Nurses never have any to "play
around" with. Regulations have tightened to the point where red tape
discourages using anything controlled except in the most dire
circumstances. That has been my experience and that of most eople I
have discussed this sort of thing with.
