WHITE HOUSE SENDS "MELISSA VIRUS"?

(CNNS, 03/29/99) -- According to Sherman Skolnick, chairman of
the public interest research group, Citizens' Committee to Clean
Up the Courts, the Clinton White House is behind the current
"Melissa Virus." The computer virus is wreaking havoc on
Internet communications.
Says Skolnick: "The White House is sabotaging the free market of
ideas, the Internet."
In a past report, Mr. Skolnick had told how the Clinton White
House had been seeking to muzzle the press through intimidation
by special teams. These special teams gathered psychological
profiles, for blackmail purposes, and threatened to revoke White
House press credentials of too inquisitive reporters. IRS
intimidation was also reportedly utilized. ("White House To

Now, according to Skolnick, the White House censorship frenzy has
expanded to Internet -- and beyond.
Journalists attempting to communicate by phone, from Washington,
D.C., with Skolnick, have found those communications jammed.
"There are horrendous noises blocking the calls," says Skolnick.
"They have been blocking calls of other journalists as well," he
adds.
"Will an electrical brownout be next?" wonders Skolnick.
These attempts at communication disruption by the Clinton
Administration follow widespread dissent here in the U.S., where
vocal critics of U.S. policy have gained tremendous influence due
to their use of the latest Internet technologies.
According to Mr. Skolnick, an expert on subrosa U.S. politics, we
have yet to be told the real reason behind recent NATO
intervention in Yugoslavia. "The mass media does not tell us
what the fight is really about!" he exclaimed.
The deeper level of news surrounding the Yugoslav crisis is a far
cry from the Pollyanna sentimentalism now being foisted off on
the American public. Control of a huge oil supply, larger even
than Mideast supplies, discovered in the waters off Yugoslavia,
appears to be the actual motivator for NATO involvement, says
Skolnick. This is corroborated by an article in the May 20, 1996
issue of The Spotlight newspaper, which noted (page 2) that
"Bosnian officials are convinced that their country sits on its
own untapped oil fields -- which were surveyed by major oil firms
under the auspices of the World Bank back in 1992. The results
of the survey have since vanished from the Ministry of Energy in
Sarajevo."
Other motivators for the developing Yugoslav uproar could be
related to Bill Clinton's ongoing Whitewater troubles and his
complicity in the Red Chinese espionage scandal. Skolnick and
his associate, Joseph Andreuccetti, may be on the verge of being
called as witnesses in the Whitewater affair, in connection with
their knowledge of a reported embezzlement of Madison Guaranty
S&L. In that alleged fraud, Andreuccetti says he was robbed by
the Clinton gang in order to help cover up the reported
embezzlement.
Of more immediate concern is the fact that the Geneva Convention,
ratified during the 1920s, does not apparently cover military
personnel operating under the auspices of the *ex post facto*
NATO. Since NATO did not exist during the 1920s, pilots shot
down over Yugoslavia may not be sheltered by the Geneva
Convention. In such a case, they could be subject to torture and
execution by the Serbs. According to some of Skolnick's sources,
one of these NATO pilots has already been executed by the
Yugoslav armed forces. And European sources contend, says
Skolnick, that 8 or more NATO aircraft have already been shot
down in Yugoslavia.
