I had a friend in Viet Nam, a pilot; he did not return. The last time I
saw him he looked haggard and worn, and had aged rapidly...he had a
strange feeling he would not return, and he did not return, nor was his
body every found...MIA.
The North Vietnamese put a $30,000 price on the head of a pilot; the
south Vietnamese, they put their heads on a stake. They figured a pilot
had more intelligence than the foot soldiers of Viet Nam. So much for
living in fame, or going down in flames.
Today we are dealing with a little more civilized population; and with
all our wealth and power, you need might and right to win any war and
one does not pull punches to prolong the expense of he battle - that is
unless they want a costly war in lives and money - and who profits..
Had the pilot in question used the full force of the US power, he could
have blown the entire debate out of this world.
We cannot win this battle because ; there is no war. There is no honor
in this spectacle....look how America turned its back on the veterans of
the Viet Nam war....look at the Veterans returning from the Gulf War,
many of whom were stricken with what appears to be the effects of some
type of nerve gas....how much did the government spend ignoring their
pleas for assistance. All the congressmen now are in the closed door
session discussions deciding how much of a raise they want.....will will
no doubt be added to the bottom of another bill and railroaded thorugh.
Wlhen Madam Albright came to Columbus, Ohio she was nearly hissed and
booed off the stage; the kids saw right through her.....years ago, I was
walking down the street, and suddenly I was marching with a group of
dismal looking Iranians....they seemed in a hypnotic state and were
carrying signs "Death to the Ayatollah".....now this Ayatollah wore a
Black Turban, which means he descends from Muhammed....do you believe
these were really Moslems.....death to the descendent of Mohammed? Or
ws the Ayatollah really Howard Hughes in disguise.
American flags now with swatstikas printed over the stars and stripes;
and did you ever note how many of the people interviewed over there all
speak English?????
And then, look at the faces of the people who have lost what little they
have...children crying, old people barely able to walk bombed out of
their homes....cities burning....and a 20 billion dollar plane is
brought down with a pilot who would rather be home defending our
country, than serving as a mercenary.
Does any of this make sense? Bill Clinton should be sued off the face
of the earth when he leaves office, and no doubt he will be.....and if
the remarks made about the Secret Service being "pigs " is true, keep
in mind the men in this service are prepared to use their bodies as
shields to preserve the life of the president, no matter how rotten he
seems to be.
Goodbye Clinton, and good riddance; and if Al Gore has the guts to run,
well - its goodbye Al Gore...he will be elected "in a pigs eye", or
whatever that phrse it.
